Mr. Gilbert Mo, BBS, Former Deputy Law Draftsman and Vice Chairperson of the HKRC Governance and Sustainability Committee, was invited as a speaker and he shared the legal implications and practical applications of wills and EPAs in an accessible way, using current affairs to enhance understanding. He encouraged the public to plan ahead to safeguard their wishes. Participants were excited and expressed that the seminar is insightful and beneficial.

The Hong Kong Red Cross held an online talk on April 16, 2025, titled "Travel Safety Essential: How to Protect Yourself During a Disaster While Traveling? Disaster Preparedness Guidelines." The talk shared knowledge on how to respond to various disasters encountered during travel, as well as the corresponding protections offered by travel insurance. The goal is to minimize disaster-related injuries and heighten our preparedness.

As of today, there are 44 countries and regions experiencing humanitarian crisis due to natural calamities or conflicts, with hundreds of millions of people in urgent need of humanitarian assistance. To assist these affected communities, Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC) has deployed volunteers and staff to provide emergency medical support and humanitarian assistance in Gaza, Afghanistan, and Syria. Upon their return, they were cordially invited to share their experiences and reflections with HKRC staff and volunteers.
