"Emotion Navigation: Preparing for Grief and Life Planning" Free seminar
Hong Kong Red Cross hosted the free seminar "Emotion Navigation: Preparing for Grief and Life Planning" on 25 October 2025, aiming to help the public cope with grief positively and plan for peace of mind.
The seminar featured Ms. Olivia Li, Hong Kong Red Cross Clinical Psychologist, who shared insights on the grief journey and the concept of “Four Important Messages.” Through real-life cases, she encouraged participants to practice saying “Thanks, Love, Sorry, and Goodbye,” helping to resolve regrets and reduce emotional barriers when facing loss.
Also joining was Ms. Ryanne Lai, Co-founder of 'ForeverGift.hk' and practising lawyer in Hong Kong, who shared and explained the 3 important documents including wills, Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA), and Advance Directive in Relation to Medical Treatment (AD). Using real-life examples, she helped participants better understand the importance of these arrangements and how to prepare effectively.
