Over a hundred armed conflicts are currently occurring around the world, do the news reports about the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the situation in Gaza make you and your child feel disheartened or curious about the effects of war? Civilians living in war zones face crucial decisions every moment as they navigate an environment filled with danger and uncertainty. As global citizens, war is not as distant as we might imagine—can we truly distance ourselves from it?
The brand-new interactive choice-driven theater "Warzone24" immerses participants in a "24-hour" experience of armed conflict.This immersive experience, similar to the "Warzone" series, invites you and your child to act " the roles of civilians caught in the midst of conflict. Participants will have the opportunity to influence parts of the storyline, enhancing the interactivity of the theater and enabling families to step into the war zone experiencing the lives of civilians and explore important humanitarian values.
The Humanitarian Education Centre is now offering a special parent-child experience for all donors at a discounted rate, allowing you to engage with this unique adaptation of real-life events and in reflection with your child about the challenges that armed conflict brings to civilians and respond to global humanitarian challenges through action.
