" Inclusive Development Platform – Revitalizing Career Growth and Empowering Talent as One".

The Hong Kong Red Cross has set "Promote Social Cohesion and Inclusion" as one of the strategic aims in our Corporate Strategic Plan. To that end, we have announced our Inclusion Policy and will be hosting a marketplace cum exhibition on 17th and 18th August (Saturday and Sunday) at HKRC Headquarters, under the theme " Inclusive Development Platform – Revitalizing Career Growth and Empowering Talent as One". The event will include a marketplace, an exhibition, paid workshops and various free booth activities. You are warmly invited to join and support this inclusive initiative.

Event detail:

1. Market - Various social welfare organizations and social enterprises showcase handicrafts or handmade gifts designed by persons with disabilities, which can be purchased on-site

2. Exhibition – Understand HKRC’s Inclusivity Policy and the experiences of persons with disabilities in the workplace

3. Workshops - A variety of different types of workshops, such as interacting with disabled instructors, to create interesting handicrafts; participate in STEAM parent-child workshops to learn about humanitarian work

4. Game booths – Six small games to learn about the concept of inclusiveness and the underlying humanitarian principles
