The Hong Kong Red Cross Donor Award Ceremony 2024 was successfully held on Saturday, November 9, 2024. In addition to the commendations, volunteers and beneficiaries were arranged to share their experience and stories, allowing attendees to understand how their generous donations have helped the vulnerable communities in society.

HKRC organized a seminar on the theme of "Care for Present. Plan for Future” on September 7 and 11, 2024, aim to let caregivers understand the importance of making good life plans for the care recipients in their later years, and at the same time, learn practical knowledge and become a healthy self-help caregiver. More than 230 people were attended in 2 seminars.

Thumbnail Sharing on Gaza humanitarian operations by HKRC medical volunteer Dr. Au Yiu-kai
The escalation of hostilities between Israel and the Gaza Strip has left Gaza plunging into a dire humanitarian crisis worsening day by day, with the public health system on the verge of collapse. Deployed by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), veteran HKRC medical volunteer Dr. Au Yiu-kai arrived in Gaza last December to assist with emergency medical support. Upon his return, Dr. Au was cordially invited to share his experience and reflections with HKRC staff and volunteers.
