🎉 3 Days of Fun! World Red Cross Day 2026 × 70th Anniversary of Red Cross Youth Hands-on Workshops • Game Booths • Interactive Exhibitions & More—Join Us!
Every year, 8 May marks the “World Red Cross Day”, commemorating the birthday of Henry Dunant, founder of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. This year holds special significance for the Hong Kong Red Cross as Red Cross Youth celebrates its 70th anniversary. Over seven decades, the dedication and actions of young people have embodied humanitarian service, supported by the trust and commitment of generations of supporters along the way.
To celebrate this milestone, a three-day public event will be held from 8 to 10 May 2026 at Olympian City Phase 2. The event will feature 11 interactive game booths designed by Red Cross Youth, alongside DIY workshops, an exhibition area, and stage programmes. Through fun and engaging activities, participants will gain insights into humanitarian action, holistic well-being, and the power of youth.
This is not merely a celebratory event, but a humanitarian journey alongside youth—
carrying forward humanitarian values, uniting the strength of the community, connecting different generations, and embracing innovation to meet future challenges, as we continue the mission and impact of Red Cross Youth.
